2 Types of African Young People that Will Never Succeed in Life: By Javnyuy Joybert

From my observations, I think if any young person in Africa falls under any of these two you will find success difficult. To be successful, you need to cultivate successful habits. And the two highlighted habits below can never attract success in the life of any young person

  1. Young People that Constantly Complain About their Circumstances.

One of my favorite quotes I wrote down when I was going through difficult moments about 4 years ago was “Javnyuy Joybert, you are not a product of your present circumstances but a product of what you say about yourself and what God says about you”.

The point is young people who complain about their circumstances, always have something wrong with them. It is either parents were poor or they come from a funny village or they did not go to a good school and so on. There is no end to their excuses and they are good at telling you their excuses anytime you meet them. Note this, complaining about a thing never made that thing better. So take the time you spend complaining and do something useful towards adding value to your life like reading personal development articles, attending seminars, listening to audio books and so on. It is always better to go and do instead of sit and stew

  1. Young People that Bad-Mouth their fellow peers

If you have friends that will sit with you and bad mouth others behind their backs, you can be sure they are bad mouthing you behind your back. Most of these young people love to dwell on others weaknesses to try and make themselves look better, smarter than the person they are talking about. Those who bad mouth gain nothing and bad mouthing helps no one, it instead destroys and defames. Young people like these just sit around waiting for others to fail so that they can talk about them and even if they don’t fail they will still find something to talk about the person. The disability in life is bad attitude.

As a young person, stop complain and blaming, start doing and remember speak good of others
